Just finished pic related including dlc, enjoyed it a lot except for the endings which felt pretty rushed. The whole outsider narrating it with still scenes instead of wrapping it up nicely was a huge let down.

DEADBOLT is amazing in my opinion. It's like Hotline Miami had a kid with Gunpoint and they replaced mobsters with the undead and wire puzzles with vents and plumbing to travel through. I highly recommend it.

I liked The Outsider, giving powers to people and expecting the worst from them. Sometimes he's right sometimes you walk an unexpected path. Him narrating it is a better ending than no ending just credits as some games do.

I too played the originals religiously, but DS did not disappoint. There is a certain degree of nostalgia that makes the first two seem so much better, but unfairly so. I won't argue that among the trilogy, Thi4f doesn't count, the first two are the better games, but the third is a worthy successor that is at the very least on par.
The third is also not as dated and more approachable to someone who isn't familiar with older games.
