At least with TF2 you have 12 people on a team, where 4-6 can be shit and the rest of you can carry, but with Overwatch being 6v6 you basically have to suffer since just a few shit teammates will ruin the game.

The trick is the play really fucking badly the first 30 matches to lower your mmr. The game will then think you're a shitter and pair you up with high mmr guys, which hopefully will have a good gamesense.

Lucio has no focus-healing, which is necessary to exert pressure on a defense. Unless you can completely out-maneuver it. His speed boost is also useless defending payloads. Mercy can be very useful if paired with a Phara that allows her to float above a position.

Sometimes the stars do align. Had a Soldier:76 staying behind me on a payload map and very effectively taking out enemies in the middle-distance. Since he didn't have to dodge or take cover, he could put out a lot of pressure.

I probably am one. I only play D.Va but I'm pretty good as her. Hit and run and such. She's especially good with a healer. My first match ever I got play of the game with her ult, killed 4 with it and then a 5th with her pistol before I called another mech. It felt great.

As long as you don't play as 'dumb as they', you could score an opportunity to switch the game around. Besides, what do you expect when quick play is all there is?Though when ranked mode comes out, it's going to be double pick meta, which is probably even worse then playing with dumb teammates in the longer run.

Assuming the person playing has the slightest degree of sentience, they won't be doing that. I'm talking about the shit players who know what they're supposed to be doing, but don't have the trained muscles to put their plan into action.
