Bullshit drills were removed, so that safes can be opened without them. No need to waste about 2 bucks on a key to get a shitty blue weapon that costs about 0.03 cents

Nah, this has nothing to do with ingame drills.
These are drills to open safes (pretty much CS:GO cases with drills being keys) which contain weapons. These weapons are either just a rare skin OR they have a stat boost, which started the major argument of "thats bullshit" and "thats p2w"
