OP here, since i've been only interested in daidouji gameplay. It looks similiar to dragon ball xenoverse except there is no flying nor special moves limit.

It's pretty solid as a button masher. Not exactly deep, but there's a decent amount of variety to the playable characters, and different enemy types do require some different strategies, especially on higher difficulties. Don't listen to people who compare Senran Kagura to Dynasty Warriors just because there are a lot of grunts on the screen. It's much more similar to Streets of Rage/Final Fight-style beat-em-ups in style.

I have SV and EV. It's a brawler, similar in style to Musou (large numbers of enemies, large combos) but without the field capture mechanic. Typically a level will consist of beating up a large number of enemies as quickly as possible before fighting a boss (another titty ninja). There's a fairly large roster of characters, each of which has a different fighting style; though each character has the ability to transform into a stronger version which has special attacks. Each character also has a level which you raise by completing missions, and leveling up will unlock more moves and increase your strength.
The main part of the game is a story mode, in each level you'll usually play as different characters. In Shinovi Versus there's 4/5 campaigns, each based around a different high school/group of characters, and the schools fight each other. There's also special missions for each character.
Story wise it's not amazing, but better than you might expect of a fapbait kusoge. You end up learning about the characters.
I quite enjoy them, they're good mindless button bashers to play in bite size pieces. Can get repetitive though.

In Warriors games you are constantly moving around a large map, completing different objectives. At Senran Kagura you're progressing from point A to B, battling crowds of enemies along the way to reach mid-boss or group of harder mooks, repeating the proces few times before reacing unique stage boss.
It's more like traditional beat-em-up, just with crowds of enemies and 3D play-area.

Is that so? My experience with the genre has been Dynasty, Hyrule and One Piece Warriors so I was comparing Senran Versus games to those, and the format is really different.
I only played it for a few hours, but it's basically just dynasty warriors, I never really liked dynasty warriors so it didn't really hold my attention.
Regret buying it honestly but it wasn't a big deal.

Oh yeah, that too, there's a decent dressup mechanic. You can switch the costumes for the Senrans in their untransformed and transformed states separately; there's a bunch of clothing options and accessories to unlock and customise with. There's also a shit ton of underwear to unlock/win in the ingame raffle.

The combat's like dynasty warriors, but that's about it. I wish they'd steal a little more from dynasty warriors actually.I wouldn't mind a little more tactical gameplay in my titty ninja simulator. If they'd just take down the invisible walls, open up the stages and add some objectives and allied troops to lead around it's be perfect. I want to lead teams of ninjas around the battlefield, defend against enemy counterattacks, activate traps to stop enemy offensives, and then have a duel with the enemy commander. Not just get locked into arenas until I've killed enough mooks to move on. I though EV was going to introduce some more tactical stuff with the whole "defend the festival platforms!" thing, but you were only ever on the offensive.
I also wouldn't mind if they stole the create-an-officer system from the older dynasty warriors games. I'd love to be able to play advanced versions of the generic shinobi grunts and specialists.

Really shouldn't be that hard to do, given how cookie-cutter the body types are and how much outfit swapping you can do. In Dynasty/Samurai Warriors you'd have the issue of men and women having such different proportions that women using male movesets would end up looking bow-legged and having their arms spread out like they're wearing an invisible inner tube.
