It plays like a mix between Rainbow Six and America's Army, though it's fast and a bit arcadey overall. Map knowledge is the key here. Gunplay and sound design are amazing and rank among the best in video games ever.
Night combat maps are also intense as hell but they're rarely played.

Its actually one of the best, if not the best tactical fps out right now. Consistent updates, mod support, competititve servers, night maps, great suppression mechanics and visuals all around ( for source engine, at least). Buy it, you'll kick yourself if you don't at that price.

Loving how the gunplay feels
I started playing 2 days ago. I got wrecked a bit until I learned all the mechanics and loadouts. Then my previous experience with games like Resistance and Liberation helped me getgud. You don't need anything higher than a red dot or Kobra sight. Just learn 2 aim because like all source games the guns are hit scan. I see retards with 4x optics on nuggets taking forever to aim and fire. Just point and shoot dummy.

Not a bad shooter, realism in priority, good gunplay, hard, but overall currently Squad is the same thing but with tactics. Personally, I would buy it just to simply enjoy gunplay and realism

Well no, If you play game modes that don't pertain to COD, it's really fun. It also puts way more emphasis on teamwork like pushing an objective or countering and enemy flank. Just because you play it like COD doesn't mean everyone else is a fag.
