Her defense is so high she takes low single digit damage from the strongest of enemies, and her HP is so high even mages barely put a dent in it. Actually, I went through the middle mostly. My Arthur is decently tanky, so I had him with Peri Pairup get swapped into the pots by the archer with Lunge. He then choke pointed the incoming spearmen, and I broke 1 poison jar to move everyone else in. After that, I just had my ranged units shoot the spearmen while Arthur advanced, healing if I needed to. Also, he had a Frying Pan for +10 Dodge to say fuck crits. Bronze axe probably works too though.

To get through the doors you need to kill one of the archers on either side to get the key to open one of the doors on either side. Though by the sounds of it, I best skip the ninjas and go up either side.
How did you divide up your teams?

Use Elfie to clog up the right part of the center wall and tank that side. Camilla should hold the left side of the same wall. Silas, Arthur and Severa should hold the right adequately with Corrin Plugging the choke point at the top left on the bridge. Felicia and Elise should be kept towards the center, ready to heal anyone who is too badly wounded and need to retreat or to move up and heal.
Use Nyx to use the orb to spam the fireballs and Azura to use sing on her to use it twice. Mount the Ballista with Nials but be careful about enemy archers attacking him.
Keep Beruka towards the middle ready to intercept any pegasus knights coming from the flanks or wounded by the ballista to finish them off.

Well, he's level 15 now with 30 HP (not including his HP +5) and 13 Def. This is on chapter 16 now. It's more about him being paired up, with enough HP to eat the hits. And also just speed to not be doubled. Him getting kills isn't important, just holding a point. As someone else mentioned, there's a Defense +4 jar right in front of you. Make sure as many people as possible get that, it's unbelievably useful. Remember that Laslow can rally people's Speed/Strength by 1, which could be useful also. Felicia/Jakob can also use Freeze staves to hold people back, although I haven't been using those because I'm the type to save stuff.
Also, Tonics from the store can be useful for a boost. +2 to a stat for 150G is nothing to scoff at. Also Mess Hall boost.

My current strategy involves having Niles on the rightmost turret and Azura singing at him, since that's a good way to deal with the archers which approach from the right. I have Jakob and Arthur go left to deal with the two Onis in the beginning, Odin on the Fire Orb, Archer Mozu on the middle turret, Effie tanking the right-center, Camilla and Corrin in the left-center, and Selena and Beruka doing whatever. Shit mainly hits the fan when the three Onis spawn on the left, since I'm forced to move a bunch of units over to that side to kill them all before they can kill Odin. Meanwhile, Azura is tied up with Niles at the right turret, and they can't leave because then the enemy archers can get access to that turret and fuck me.

I would suggest switching up the above. Don't worry about the onis, use the fire orb to barrage them and let them come to you. Only one can attack at a time if you just put Corrin up there on the bridge.
The right ballista I never found much use, I used the ballista to harass and damage anyone coming for the center wall. Top right can easily be covered by Silas and Arthur with Severa. So long as one is posted on the point of the Ballista (the least useful of the three) you should be fine.
Things only really get heated on the left which, as I said, is easily assessable by plugging it with Corrin on the bridge while you can commit any additional manpower to the middle wall or to the right when needed.

Hinoka isn't hard to make a good unit. Just reclass her to Spear Fighter. The fact that she comes with a Guard Naginata makes her able to do pretty much everything. Her only actual flaw is that people compare her to Camilla since that's her counterpart, which isn't fair for anyone that doesn't have a pref weapon.

I don't think it'll be a remake. For some reason, remakes are actually more risky for FE than other franchises. For example, a Blazing Sword remake would probably do well here but Japan doesn't like Blazing Sword very much so it probably wouldn't do so hot over there.
Then again, FE does have a lot of new fans now so maybe it's worth a try to see if they get some better results than SD and New Mystery.
