What are, in your opinion, the essential arcade games that no arcade, MAME setup or rich person's garage should be without?
Outrun and Space Harrier are a given but what else?

For me, here's a list of arcade hardware I would love:
a NAOMI setup, I'd run MvC2 most of the time
Atomiswave, running Hokuto No Ken
Exboard, alternating between the most recent version of Arcana Heart and Daemon Bride
Neo-Geo, with Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Real Bout Fatal Fury 2, World Heroes Perfect, and Samurai Shodown V Special.
I think those are the most important for me

Please explain further. I'm not familiar with the process of emulating NAOMI games.

I wouldn't bother emulating, if I just wanted to play MvC2, I'd play it on Dreamcast (if I had a stick) or PS3. If I were to make a garage arcade, I'd buy a NAOMI board and put it in a Blast City cab. The NAOMI uses cartridges, so you can swap out games pretty easily. I don't know anything about emulation, sorry.
