Doom is a passable FPS that people are hailing as the savior of the medium because it didn't shit itself to death.

DKS3 is my favourite game so far, and I imagine that won't change, especially as the DLC will likely be even better.
Deus Ex might be good though.
Dark Souls 3 was really good as single player game but the multiplayer is lacking and the builds are unbalanced right now, I'll wait for patches and DLC before saying anything else.
Overwatch is really fun but Blizzard doesn't give a shit about fixing the balance problems like McCree being godlike or every support being inferior to Lucio

I know it's just like beating a dead horse now, but mostly the combat, it was fine at first on Death March, but after I reached Novigrad it felt like I've done everything already, and this was like 10% of the story. Then came the first boss, literally hit 2-3 times and dodge waiting for him to finish his combo. Then, the hundreds of witcher senses quests, also fun at first, before the second Wild Hunt boss, which was the same strategy as the first. When I got to the ending, I had the audacity to think the last battle would live up to all the hype, "Oh holy shit, it's just like the other ones". The main villans were incredibly disappointing.
It also isn't a game were I can think and theorise about something, because everything it just there for you, the whole fantasy aspect and imagination is taken away because it's all there, you just need to accept it. Feels like a book to me, not a game.

Were you expecting something similar to Dark Souls? Keep in mind that you're roleplaying as Geralt. He is an overpowered witcher even in the books. But I understand where you're coming from and if I had to pick a flaw it would be in reference to the combat. Which can be jarring to come to terms with at times especially if you've played Bloodborne. However the overall game manages to rise about this aspect and I don't think you should let this single yet reasonable gripe tarnish your view about everything else that it offers. Just the writing alone is probably miles better than anything released up to this gen so far.

I wasn't expecting Dark Souls, but more variety in combat overall. The skill tree was also disappointing, since it barely affected the player movement.
And just to be clear, with "nothing to do" I was talking about myself, not the game, I recognize that there are a lot to do in game, but they just get boring quickly due to very little variety. The best example I can give is Skellige map, I saw it and thought "Oh boy, there's a lot of '?' here, and most of them on water, could there be giant sea monsters?" and, upon exploring, it was all smuggler cache.
