SEGA Rumored To Bring Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Franchise to PC. Will we finally be able to sexualize the Miku?

Fuck, I was saving for a PS4 just for two games (this being one of them). If they do it, I'll praise SEGA foreva.

People have been doing that for years already.

Maybe the F games, but FT will certainly be exclusive for a long while.

The problem would be that Sony owns the soundtrack for Project Diva and most Miku songs. According to Japan and its laws.

In what possible way?

Wouldn't they have to change the button prompts for a PC release?

The Project Diva games always use X, Triangle, Square and Circle. Wouldn't it have to be 360 buttons, for a PC release? Some stages even have the button shapes in the background

Calling bulls**t, anon.
There's a Project game on the 3DS. If what you said was true, there's no way Sony would have allowed it.
>>
>>339286391
Licensing issues would prevent the port because Sony Music Japan hates gaijins and anything non Sony.
>>
>>339287030
That's Project Mirai, nor Project Diva
it sounds stupid, but those are two different series
>>
>>339287030
Diva not Mirai, different series all together, Sony specifically owns Diva rights and gets money from the arcade version too.
>>
>>339286928
There are PC games that include dualshock button prompts

Xbox button prompts are used because more people use those controllers for their PC than dualshock controllers.
>>
>>339287083

What do Sony Music Japan have to do with anything?
>>
>>339287308
They own the soundtrack to Project Diva and most of the songs. Japanese laws are retarded.

Which ones?
Helldivers?

Even Neptunia ports have 360 button prompts, and those are playstation games
>>

Outline these laws then, because a fuck ton of the song that have appeared in Project Diva are in games totally unaffiliated with Sony and are sold in CD/Blu-Rays totally unaffiliated with Sony.

It basically challenges your reflexes, hand eye coordination and rhythm sense, it sounds like faggotry but these kinds of games are pretty hardcore.

This is why I like them, althrough they are so simple at the core that even girls can enjoy them at their lowest levels.

Try a fighting game and see how you get your ass handed to you as a "miku pro player".
>>
>>339294000
Especially edit mode. There's a fuckton of custom songs which blow the difficulty of the base games songs out of the water
>>
>>339294102
Its different.

Reacting to other people's inputs with the right outputs can be a lot harder if the other player is good, but a lot easier if they are bad.

Which is different from memorizing thousands of patterns and pressings buttons at the right time.

Both games can be hard.

For someone who has never played any of those what's a good starting point? Is there anything you're missing if you don't play the older games?

Nope Go ahead and play any game. I would recommend starting with project diva F.

PDF 2nd for most starters due to it being the cheapest ($20 new) and having most of the older songs.
PD if you wanna know how the Diva series started.

>remembering patterns
It's about reading patterns, you retard, not about memorizing patterns unless you are playing on extreme difficulty. I cleared most of the hard mode songs in my first try. Also there are a lot of other stuff like the precision gap, you dumb casual.
>>
>>339298081

Go back reddit.
>>
>>339298380
That was the point idiot. You don't need to memorize shit for hard and normal mode unless you are really bad at video games (a casual). Extreme mode mixes a lot of weird patterns at a really fast pace and makes memorization a requiriment and it is the only exeption.
>>
>>339298743
Okay. You go ahead and call me casual while playing on easy.
>>
>>339299123
I still don't get your point. I explained that Hard and nomal mode don't require memorization becuase you can just read the patterns as opossed of extreme mode where you need to memorize them. I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are not the person i first retard i replied to.

This is old news.
I'm really confused as to why a Miku website is only just now reporting it when the sites its sources are for said this back in January.

Don't get me wrong, I'd totally be up for PC ports of these games and would probably buy them. But this is old news, and it was barely news even then since it was just a rumor based on an "inside source" at some less than reputable website.

Why goodbye? You do realize the only shitty threads with a PC game are AAA dogshit and souls games yeah?

DDDA threads are comfy. Total War threads are great. All of the Elite Dangerous threads have been helpful people being helpful. You're confusing PC with toxic communities, this is understandable as PC is most related with "e-sports" which breeds these communities. Not all of us are like them anon, stop being such an autistic douche.

Anyhow, my love for vocaloid was renewed on May 5th. Pic quite related even tho it's shitty.
