It's interesting that Mario has mostly avoided terrible things. Like, there's no shitty recent Mario cartoons like Sonic and Mega Man have. He also doesn't have any shitty comics (all the old Mario comics from the '90s are great imo).
The worst thing Mario's done in recent memory is probably some Mario Party game or some shit.
