What are some games with really satisfying revolvers?
I've already played New Vegas through about 10 times.
BF 3/4
Deus Ex Human Revolution.
Red Dead Revolver.

Killer7 as Dan
Call of juarez gunslinger
Call of Juarez Gunslinger
Killer Floor 2.
it's hiiiiigh noon
Overwatch.
>>339243717
Worth it just for the reload animation alone.
Same goes for Broken Butterfly in RE4.
Interestingly borderlands one had some really neat revolvers if you could find an actually useful one like the toxic defiler or a masher, which is basically a shotgun in revolver form; and the Madjack, with lead storm +9 to fire fast as hell.
Then perhaps BLACK for the xbox and ps2 I think.
>>339243521
Half-Life 1+2, takes a while to get it though.
I loved the Smith & Wesson in UC2 online, but it's all shit now.
>>339243692
>use a revolver
>upgrade it
>run out of ammo after picus
>>339243521
Overwatch as McCree
Remember it's always High Noon
>>339244518
thats who id play if i would waste 40 dollars
faggot
Fistful of Frags had some really fun revolvers, the Walker was especially amazing.
I'm gonna toss in another vote for Killing Floor 2.
>>339243521
Didn't Tribes Ascend have a revolver that used to fucking rape face until it got nerfed by removing its hitscan?
ITS HIGH NOON
>>339243521
insurgency servers that have the manurhin mod and model 10 and allow for two secondaries are about as satisfying as it gets
Red dead Revolver... Those duels were pure sex
>>339243953
Jakobs pistols in Borderlands 2 are pretty much revolvers, right? They're not exactly top tier weapons, but they should be good enough until late game.
i mean memes aside, getting the High Noon on a complete team is Cathartic as fuck.
>>339243521
Fist full of fuckin' frags
>>339247840
>high noon 5.7 million rolled around times a day
What?
I like the hand cannon one in Max Payne 3 a lot.
>>339247772
Yeah, but they don't feel good to use. Way too "loose" is how I'd describe it. Plus the sounds are all wrong and reticule bloom is way too much for what it feels like the weapon is actually doing, making them feel really light and shitty.
Meanwhile Borderlands 1 revolvers felt fucking powerful, accurate and "snappy", plus the sounds and look of them is perfect for the Asthetic of the game. Plus Bl1 had gore, so shooting someone would often blow them to peices which made the guns feel really powerful, unlike Bl2 where they mostly feel like clicking on an enemy and making thier health lower.
Game's surprisingly great, too.
>dat narration
>dat story

>tfw overwatch is the next overhyped game
>tfw I'll never enjoy it now because of this
>>339248314
Just played through the whole damn thing today because I got it for a buck on humble bundle. Pretty good, I went down the slinger/ranger tree. I'm not used to my guns not being hyper accurate.
Also Worms had a really satisfying "shotgun"
>>339247031
the LeMat was my jam
>>339243521
Rainbow 6 vegas 1/2
Resident evil 4
Fucking Destiny, dog.
XIII
>>339248314
It was a perfect game for the Western/Cowboy genre and a really good FPS.
When did you guys pick the twist in the story? I had my suspicions pretty much Immidetly after he told the story about his brothers, as a crackpot theory and I became surer and surer as the game went on.

Satisfying
This.
and it's free
>>339243521
blacklight retribution
free to play
really like the revolver there.
the snub is fun too
The magnum in BLACK
Christ, between that and the remington, that game was sure made by some gun porn enthusiast
>>339249483
My enthusiasm was dampened a bit when I heard the gun sounds they sourced from movies instead of recording it themselves.
Great modeling and feel to them though
>>339249123
I just thought it was some light-hearted and made up story Greaves was telling. The part with Grey wolf and the whole cemetery part tipped me off that there's something more to the story.
>>339243521
Resident Evil 4
>>339249847
>tfw you want to admire the gun, but too focused/stressed on aiming the gun with what little ammunition you have on the thing that needs such a big caliber to be taken down.

>Ricochet rounds for unblockable trick shots
>You can literally unlockHiiigh Noonas an ability with it
Oh yeah and there's a sword or something
>>339250456
is this the game you gotta play with a ReeU controller
>>339250672
Nah, just Wiimote (with motionplus), it's a regular Wii game
>>339250456
I would buy a replica of that sexy revolver. Too bad the game's too unnoticed for it to ever get any attention on that level
>>339249123
What twist? The man he's looking for is the bartender?I saw it from miles away, doesn't makes it bad though
>>339250456
Literally the most underrated game on Wii. This, or House of the Dead Overkill. Fuck, Wii had so many underrated gems.
>>339251148
>tfw you get the upgrades for the revolver
>They make it glow red and be completely op
>YOU CAN'T TAKE THEM OFF
>Too bad the game's too unnoticed for it to ever get any attention on that level
>>339251612
tfw it was a well made, really fun, immersive and highly enjoyable if badly balanced game but it came out too late in the Wii's lifetime when it became established as a babbyshit console for manchildren and literal children who play nothing but Nintendo games, full of shovelware and worthless garbage
tfw nobody played it and it probably made a loss and nothing like it will ever be made again now because in everything but the commercial family-oriented aspect the wii was a failure
Max Payne 3
Red Dead Redemption
>>339243521
the last word from Destiny but sadly it's been buried in the ground, also there's the golden gun for gunslinger
>>339248615
Literally this. Same that happened with undertale. Dont know if its worth any of the praise, but the constant hyping and people not shutting up about it even for a second makes me unable to enjoy anything it has to offer.
Fallout 4?
>>339252321
>>339248615
>tfw don't come here often so don't see the hype buildup and I don't form any unwarranted opinion of it
>decide to try the free tria- uhh "open beta" when I see about it
>have fun and buy the game
I can see how it must look like shilling. All I'd say is "Try the open beta" but that expired so shiggy I guess.
Blizzard are missing out by not including Guest Passes with copies of the game IMO

How?
Destiny had some satisfying revolver play
>>339250456
Oh my god FINALLY someone else on /v/ who acknowledges the amazingly underrated game that is Red Steel 2
Playing through it for the second time right now, should I keep my weapons vanilla or upgrade them? I'm already roasting everyone, I don't wanna make myself completely overpowered, but I also don't wanna miss those cool upgrades like the ricochet.
Also what looks cooler, just the old west guns or when you give them the Tron treatment? Also I can't even remember what happens when you upgrade the sword but should I?
I thought the first response would be Revolver Ocelot.
>>339243953
Yeah the revolver in Black is godly.
>>339255073
>Also I can't even remember what happens when you upgrade the sword but should I?
I'm pretty sure the sword ends up glowing red with upgrades.
I always thought the old west look was cooler than tacticool tron guns.
When I did my second playthrough I bought all the weapons but treated any and all upgrades as a crutch for when the difficulty increased increased a lot- I'd buy them only to advance play, never because I COULD. I tried to keep everything original to keep it more fun.
>>339255321
This is probably my worst vidya related memory.
Got this for Christmas when I was 9 or 10, finished it in a couple of hours. I didn't realise I was at the end when my dad came in to watch and talk to me.
We weren't very well off and he was so disappointed that I'd finished a game he'd spent so much money on so quickly. I'll never forget that look on his face.
Fistful of frags
Receiver has a revolver, and that game has the most satisfying gun handling ever.
>>339255321
Nah, this might be one of the most overrated game on /v/
The story is alright, but the gameplay is mediocre. I disappointed since I wanted better from Neversoft.
>>339255943
jesus christ anon that's depressing as shit
git bad
>>339255943
This happened to me but it was Ultimate Spider-Man.
My parents didn't know how short the game was, but from a very young age I was aware how tight the family budget was, so I was the one feeling like shit.
Bioshock 1, EXTREMELY satisfying
