/v/ is just for news, journalism, and other recent events, also twitter outrage

games themselves aren't discussed and typically get forgotten after they get released

You can talk about ant game on /v/ as long as it isn't continuous because that belongs in /vg/. You can talk about any game on /v/, you can't talk about games past the 5th gen on /vr/.
