I've tried with little success, and other anons have also claimed it emulates notoriously bad. I mean, if you haven't played it and have no other way of experiencing it, then you might as well try. It just won't be very good.

I think Drakengard 1 plays horribly (in fact, I think Drakengard 1-3, and NIER are all terrible games) but I really liked what they did with the generic fantasy setting in Drakengard 1.
It went from super by the numbers generic to fucking crazy off the walls shit.
I still think the game is like a 5/10, because the gameplay and combat is terrible.
