Everyone is realizing that certain aspects of MOBAs are popular and are figuring out what they can blend with core MOBA gameplay to make a brand new IP with a potential for rapid growth.
Also, while I dislike the game overall, it's really just a MOBA, the "shooting" element of it is barely there so I don't think it's really comparable to either Overatch or Battleborn. It's a shame for the devs too because it gets compared to Smite or traditional top-down MOBAs, and either do the whole MOBA thing better.

Downloaded and played the beta.
The game is too "epic" in pretty much every respect, but it doesn't translate to the gameplay.
Despite the amazing graphics, the big map scale, the deep(ish) card system, and all the other stuff, the game feels like all you do is count DPS.
It lacks true variety in gameplay, even with all the different heroes. There's very few movement abilities making the game basically as lateral as any top-down MOBA. Ultimately, it just doesn't leverage the third-person stuff that well.
Also, I hate playing a single match for almost an hour.
That game is so far from fucking finished that in it's current state it's ass. That's literally it. You play it and you're like "what the fuck are we even supposed to be testing". Like people need time to warm up to some brand new genre of game they've created. No.
They're slow as fuck.
Also cross-platform with playstations players who cant even speak.
Also I can't think of a more non-fun experience than playing a MOBA with a bunch of people that have no fucking clue what they're doing / leaving games for free.

Actually, it's the PC players who can't speak (in voice chat). PS4 players can plug in a keyboard and chat just fine, but they prefer to talk out loud in party chat.
