Everything about this game was just so tragic. I mean it was a great tps, with good gunplay, nice physics, a good soundtrack and satisfying blood effects, but replaying the game was a huge fucking chore because of those god awful unskippable cutscenes. The fact that the story was mostly shit and not as good as the first two games just made them even more painful (no pun intended) to sit through.
Did they ever release any mods that fixed that?

I've noticed that some you can skip after like 30 seconds to a minute, but some like the ones after the end of the first level seems to take fucking forever. I loved the airport level mainly because it was mostly pure gameplay with very few cutscenes until the end.

Max Payne 3 is a great game with shit load times,
still had the basic gameplay mechanics of the original
ie: shoot people in bullet time.
honestly it could have ended up to be much worst if it was left at any other studio.
