When will the summer sale start?
>no flash sales
>no community votes
>no fun games
>same old sales you see every time
Why even bother anymore?
June 23
>>339165571
Because I need the CK2 expansions.
I don't know but have these free keys, Rayman is an Uplay key btw.
>>339165478
Some Russian dev leaked it a few weeks ago.
>>339165571
No Flash Sales is more good than bad honestly.
>>339165953
>Uplay key btw
lel, you can keep it.
>>339165953
>uplay
>>339166164
No its not. If you honestly think that publishers and developers will go for the max cut right away then you're an idiot.
Its basically favoring the "hurr durr I don't wanna miss anything" fags while fucking everyone actively hunting for the best prices. Now devs will simply put it 60% and call it a day, because they know people will buy it since its not going further down.
>>339166164
>paying more is more good than bad
>>339166376
I don't think that most will, no. I just prefer that to waiting days, maybe weeks for that one game, which was more annoying than satisfying.
>>339165571
>>same old sales you see every time
Because you already saw a sale for everyg ame you're interested in
>2016
>still giving a shit about steam sales
>>339166376
Pretty sure their main reason to get rid of Flash Sales was because of refunds. Must of taken too much of a toll on Valve to keep having them.
Still shitty that it's gone, though.
I just want dark souls 2 sotfs for cheap, don't give a shit about anything else.
>>339166756
yeah the only steam sale that will matter is 2 years from now when Civ 6 is like 25 bucks
Maybe guilty gear will go for low since revelator is out for consoles
I'm trying to save up my money to buy several games. This sale can't some fast enough
Steam sales have been shit for three years, so I actually like the "everything is on sale for the whole sale" thing just because I can buy everything and get it out of the way instead of having false hope every fucking day.
Plus I'm starting to care less anyway. All Steam sales do is remind me of a game that exists. If it's a game I actually want to play, I just use some gray market site that's about as much as a Steam sale anyway.
>>339167034
>Steam sales have been shit ever since the point where I got everything I wanted out of them
riveting tale
>mfw shit never goes 75% off anymore
what I WANT to get hasnt been out long enough to get a sale, so all I care about is the gimmick this year.
Hopefully it'll better than the clicking game.
>>339166227
>>339166280
I'm sure someone here will get it.
>>339167147
he's saying they've been shit because there hasn't been any new games worth getting for 3 years
the first 2 years terraria went on sale were amazing now it's just a staple of the sale.
yeah there's good computer games on steam but they're all at least 3-4 years old and you buy them all at the first steam sale you run into
>>339167147
No developer/publisher packs. These are what defined the Steam sale and made people flip their shit.
>>339165478
Just fucking pirate whatever games you want
Jesus Christ. Cucks everywhere
>>339167384
Nah, I was actually saying that the sale is actually shit. As I said above, you barely ever get crazy deals any more. It's just 50%-75% off of a game or a franchise. Never is it "$40 for every single 2K game" any more.
>>339167392
Oh no, I have to buy the games I actually want separately instead of getting 50 I don't want on top
>>339167532
There is no fucking way getting more games for less is a negative. Kill yourself.
>>339167619
This. Who doesn't want to add games to their list of ones in their steam library they'll never play?
What games do you hope go on sale?
I can seriously only think of Doom 4, but I doubt it will go low enough to be worth it (~20€)
>>339168060
Distant Worlds for less than 10 bucks
Come on Matrix Games
>>339168060
any game on my wishlist
>>339168150
DW:U is like $24 right now (daily deal - 60% off):
http://store.steampowered.com/app/261470/
Honestly, it's well-worth that price. I've been playing it a lot recently, ever since Stellaris came out (which reminded me about this superior game).
>>339165682
Just pirate them.
>>339165478
hurrr durrr who gives a shit
>>339168679
I know it is, but that's ridiculous compared to other 4X games
I know Matrix likes to charge insane prices for their niche wargames but DW should have sold enough that they can justify a lower price
>>339166164
But it kills the hype. The sale starts and that's that. No countdowns, no expectations.
