Explain why people don't mention Tenchu here. I've never seen anyone bring up or discuss these games.

What is there to talk about? The last game was seven years ago and the series was way past its prime.
>>339163358
They said the same about Mario and look where we are now.
>>339163182
Because the last good game was the one you posted, which came out over a decade ago. It's fucking tragic, but there you go.
>>339163182
Don't worry OP, you already have plenty of Overwatch threads to discuss such outstanding game.
If you didn't realize yet, /v/ can only talk about 1-4 games for months. This place is one of the worse on the internet to discuss anything that isn't on the highlights. If you're hoping to have a tak about Tenchu or Yakuza for example, you won't find it here.
That said, I only played Tenchu 1 and it was great, I hope to play WoH one day.

>make MGR thread knowing people here love it
>no replies
FotM casuals, I swear
>>339163504
When has there ever been a seven year gap between Mario games since its release?
>>339163182
I fucking loved Tenchu. Played all 3 of them AND ONLY 3 OF THEM WERE EVER MADE AND ONLY 3 EXIST
I've only played Stealth Assassin on the PS1
It was bretty good
>>339163182
You could go discuss the first two on /vr/ but sadly I don't think that franchise will be coming back anytime soon.
Maybe a VR game one day?

Tried it a week ago, honestly I did not enjoy it, I never felt like I was playing a ninja but more like I was playing some kind of tank .
I really wish for a similar ninja game but with better controls.
>>339163182
I mention it in 'spooky stuff in nonhorror games' threads. The cemetery level has top tier spooks.
Bamboo forest and amagai castle were also very creepy though
I bought this shit almost 10 years ago and haven't played yet

Whose ass is it?
WHO /crack'n'stab/ HERE?
WW@
>used to create and trade levels with a friend
>collab on challenges
>have fun
Now he's married with kids, I never see him anymore, miss those days.
Bro-op was cool. We used to split-screen all the time and this was up there with Tony Hawk 3, The Warriors, Halo 2, and Point Blank.
Good times.

>not playing Ayame
she's perfect
>>339168391
You missed out on the shitty multiplayer where everyone just ran around and killed everybody while getting caught.
Also, it's fun but it reuses maps a hell of a lot. There's only like 5 or 6 over 50 missions

Its like Asian Manhunt
Was it just me, or was Wrath of Heaven completely nuts?
You start out in fairly normal feudal Japan with a bunch of asshole guards and lords and the occasionally faggot boss with a gun.
Then you find some mystic freaky fucker with a magic sword who looks like he escaped from a rejected Legacy of Kain game, who kills you, only you weren't the real you all along and then you play the real you.
And then you start assassinating clockwork robots in a mechanical castle filled with fire. I can't remember what happens after that.
Maybe my memory is a bit fuzzy, but what the actual fuck?
>>339171658
Wrath of heaven is my favorite in the series.
Fuck, man. I miss tenchu.
Fug, this game just showed up in the mail today.
How do I git gud at stealthing it?
Playing as Ayane btw

>picks best girl
>this is somehow a bad thing and he calls him gay for doing so
Who's the fruitcake now?
>>339172183
Yeah, I mean the game is absolutely top tier, in terms of gameplay. In terms of actual ninja stealthing, it's probably unrivaled outside of something like Shinobido which more or less followed the same formula.
But the story was just beyond me. Maybe I'm just an idiot or my memory is bad, but it just didn't seem to make any sense.
>Fuck, man. I miss tenchu.
Me too. Who'd have thought there'd be a deficiency in ninja-based stealth games of all things? What the hell.
>That PSP game with all that content and map builder, but shitty draw distances which made stealthan nearly impossible.
>That Wii game
LEAVE THE MEMORIES ALONE
