I love this
You don't have Elize in your party? What a shame.
>>339147357
>dodge their attacks perfectly
>no Witch Time
>only rape
>>339147498
Oh man, I remember that fight.
That game actually had a lot of fights that were ridiculously hard in the first half of the game. It felt like your characters got too powerful too quickly, and the fun challenging bosses were nowhere to be found in the second half of the game.
>>339147821
Only if you want to keep Ornstein for last. Game has a much more difficult fight before this.
>>339147579
Some of the Tartarus bosses are just straight up bs.
>lol dude let's put a boss with dyne skills at floor 59 when the player barely has access to med damaging skills yet
>>339147357
This
First mission that was actually hard.
Fuck this shit. I was stuck for almost 3 hours.
>>339148070
You talking about Kellogg?
>>339148046
Nigga are you high, Vorken is several times harder than that guy
>>339148209
Truly a smart game for smart gamers
>>339148209
How the fuck did the devs expect people to solve that? You'd have to be some sort of genius to figure that out.
>>339148290
We can't really decide, I mean whole game is casual filter from prologue till "Protect the Dearth!" phase.
>yfw you see it's level
>>339148359

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_u18_BKczg
>>339148213
Nope.
Gargoyles. Keep in mind you don't have enough firepower with just a +5 wep by then and you don't know lightning resin makes short work of them. If you knew you probably just thought to try it out of desperation, hence difficult boss or you saw a guide.
>>339148063
>>339148209
>>339148381
What are you fucking stupid? The key to this riddle is literally in front of your nose
Am I alone here able to solve this easily? Jesus
>>339147357
Fucking this
Beast eye ;^)
>>339148518
Holy shit I forgot how much I love that video
>>339147498
Fuck, was about to post this
>>339148679
God damn, dude, you must be some kind of genius. Are you Sherlock or something?
>>339148526
I'd have to argue against that because even with guides and help O&S are tough fights that require you to be constantly alert and strategic in each movement.
>>339147357
>start getting the hang of Grace and Glory
>meet Gracious and Glorious
I'LL HAVE YOUR LIFE
>>339147765
Man this boss fight was annoying. Totally pointless and came right out of nowhere.
>>339148791
That was literally the only fight in the game where I died.
I had gotten so used to everything being piss easy, that when I got wrecked in that fight I just stared in disbelief.
Then it popped up that message telling me I could set the fight to easy mode if I needed to, and that it wouldn't cause any negative effects if I did. Fuck you. I'm not taking the pussy way out.
>>339148872
fuck my pic
>>339148798
Well I'm definetely smarter than average, but no I'm not a genius. That riddle is just very easy
The entire game
>>339148952
>Well I'm definetely smarter than average
Did you know that literally every human being thinks this?
>>339148927
The worst part is that you can't use your skells when they're only a few feet away.
>>339146504
>>339149110
What did he mean by this?
I'm not sure why you'd be playing a bullet hell but this bastard pretty much makes sure that only those who really want to git gud will only get through it.
>>339148995
one of the few games where i was constantly learning throughout. i feel so dumb for not justmaking the fucking triangleearlier
>>339148995
>came out at the same time as FF13
>so many shills trying to pretend this wasn't the better game
>>339149158
Yeah that's pretty tough. But then it's unlikely you're casual when you're playing Crimson clover. Even novice is hard for the uninitiated.
>>339148839
Then I guess it comes down to opinions. By the time I got to Anor Londo I had some decent equipment which was what the game taught me to always have for occasions and the layout of the hall was much more helpful from the rooftop, even the broken pillars helped in neutralizing some attacks of theirs while the rooftops had nothing like that, so if you let the 2nd gargoyle start its flame attacks you were basically fucked. At least that's how I felt about it. Again we're talking about just going for the win and that's taking about Smough first.
>>339149234
Do you know what casual filter means? Gascoigne or BSB would be the correct answer.
>>339149258
Believe me. I've seen a couple casual players play the game and saying that Maelstrom is hard as fuck.
>>339149213
Do you want me on offense or defense?
The Asylum Demon has rekt more casuls than all of the above combined. The ULTIMATE casul filter.
>>339148983
underrated
>>339149320
Ludwig is the casual filter for the DLC :3
>>339148948
Man, he wasn't even particularly problematic himself, it's his infinitely respawning soldiers that ruin everything. I mean sure, if he hits you once he immediately combo's you to death, but it's easy enough to avoid unless the fucking mooks are stunlocking you as you're trying to dodge.
>>339149598
Oh god... don't remind me. Whenever I show a friend DaS1 I encourage them to play so they understand the sweet feeling of victory. Not a single one has been able to beat Asylum Demon :'^(
>>339146504
seriously? those ships were easy as fuck, the claw faggots were way harder, especially their end game variant that you can't witch time off of
>>339147357
this stairwell was the single most difficult part of the game

Also yeah I didn't actually know how to parry at that point so the fight took me fucking foreverMGR is one of my favorite games it's so fucking good

Not the guy you're exchanging memes with, but honestly, I don't think that's true.
>>339150667

>casual filter
This is the easiest pattern she has, too.
>>339150545
Monsoon is without a doubt one of the best boss fights I've ever had. Went into the fight with resting game face, finished it with a massive grin
>>339151035
LoLK is casual filter after casual filter. And I can't beat Sexpiece on Normal.

That's the online casual filter, he makes sure fuckers who can't count to 100 get kicked instantly
>>339151846
People who aren't unnecessarily picky about things that don't actually matter?
>>339151846
The kind that wanted to play the game early.
>>339149038
It's about honor, Anon. You use your skells in the second phase anyways.
>>339148212
Fuck this. Essentially forces you to start the game again if you happened to save before the fight(which of course you would) and your Ramza isn't strong enough.
Minotaur smirked
>>339152026
>Where the fuck is this damn bomb?

>>339148912
How was it any more pointless than any video game boss fight?
>>339152306
MOST UNLUCKY FOR YOU
>>339152260
Doesn't the game warn you not to save over your main file because you can't leave?
>>339148046
The casual filter parts are the non-fight ones for me in this game. I keep acing the fights but then dying like 10 times in a row in a "jump around while your character's size is 1 pixel and there's shit falling around you and the floor is collapsing" segments.
>>339152026
wait what now, explain
>>339152306
Minotaur was just an RNG check to see if Walter got in your party or if he didn't.
Fuck Walter.
>>339152214
How?
>>339148467
I thought his little arm was a dick from the thumbnail
fucking arkham definitely
>>339148995
But this game was easy as shit. Literally same tactic for every enemy was okay.
The only hard part is the first hour or so when you're scratching your head trying to figure out how the hell the battle system works but once you get comfy it's easy.
all the spear hollows
the rage they were causing when 2 came out was pretty funny
This guy is a LITERAL casual filter. Up until this point you can win every fight almost mindlessly, the game is pretty easy. This fucking guy though, forces you to actually think and switch up your strategy rather than just 'full offense with occasional healing'
There's also Defender X (the first real boss of the game due to his huge damage)
>>339148995
i should finish this
>>339152978
Don't forget about this son of a bitch. The same thing you said about seymour applies here
>>339152376
Can't remember the name. Nighto? Something like that. It's the death spell.
>>339152978
This fucker, though
If Satan were in mh, it would be this guy. No amount of life powders can save us now.
I though DS 1 was hard but this fucking shit right here is ridiculous
>>339152824
>Can't use my style actions
Th-thanks Vergil
>>339153206
>That part with the ten gorillion wolves to get to the key that lights up the Lost Sinner arena.
Did that get changed in SotFS?
This motherfucker in 3U was the only monster to actually make me stop, think about what I'm doing wrong, and change my strategy constantly until I got the hang of him.
Shout out to the Anubis battles in ZOE2 as well.
>>339149234
I'm probably never going to be able to get a PS4 but I love Bloodborne's art direction and boss designs so much, Lovecraft would be proud if he saw this game.
>>339153169
But you can just run away from that fight and then keep moving ahead. So not really a casual filter
Where my DMC1bois at
>>339150595
This too holy fuck why was he so hard
OUT OF MY WAY
>>339153185
The event quest for the armor is literally impossible with randoms, unless your team has 3 glaives of course.
>>339152690
I knew a guy who didn't know he had to attack the replica puppet of you that was slowly being put into the coffin.
>>339153307
This guy is my nightmares in online, fun as fuck to fight tho, one of my fav monster
>raging brachydios
>>339148329
>Play this on release blind
>No problems
I think it had to do with peoples spatial awareness, I had a friend at school at the time who used a guide and got stuck there.
>>339153206
someone didnt play Demons souls
>>339153283
Yes,they added a Pursuer in that area as well.
The whole world combined with this annoying fat huge bitch...
I fucking hated this part when I first played because you are stuck in the area before this boss with no chance of getting items from a shop, it has obnoxious poison + stuns, a bitch to staggeror lure near the plants to stun itand hits like a truck. If you aren't Yuri or Karol you're going to die asap.
>>339152978
Zanarkand was a casual filter as a whole
>That Guardian at the end of the cave
>this motherfucker:
>>339153053
>Lady Yunelesca
>all in quick succession
I bet a lot of scrubs never even got the airship.
Hope you invested wisely :^)
>>339149506
Thanks doc.best game choice senpai

wait what
I don't remember this, is after the Greene fight where she turns into a huge tunnel monster? Because I stopped at that point because I just got sick of it
>>339148338
Got through using a bubble shield
>>339153647
Every time I playthrough KH1 I always forget what the fuck I'm supposed to do with those 2 eels and the cauldron.
Assuming you don't run from the fights, of course
>>339153449
I think so too. Its one of the few dungeons in games, where you can actually do full 3D navigation.
>>339153283
You can light up the lost sinner arena?
>>339154000
You just ignore the eels and spam magic at the cauldron, that's how i won it.
>>339153408
I just hit them because I thought it was some kind of attack and I wanted to stop it.
>>339146504
>>339150473
I didn't learn how to parry until I fought Sam. I used the Defencive Offence upgrade instead.

>>339146504
>>339148995
Combat system was thicker than a brick and denser than a neutron star...
I tried though but I am not a fan of spending the first few hours of a game doing tutorial so I can play the fucking game. Bad design in general.
Both performing it and punishing it.
>try this boss half a dozen times
>each attempt feels like an hour
This battle made me drop the game.
>>339153334
Wait.
That's a fucking thing you can do?
I thought the entire situation with it prevented you from even approaching the city until you killed that serpentine fucker.
>>339154043
You didn't know? There's a Pharros Lockstone near one of the bonfires that takes you to the Bell Gargoyles fight, which leads you to a key that unlocks those doors to the rooms at the sides of the Lost Sinner entrance. You have to get a torch and light the oil pipe things in those rooms.
>>339153334
or you know if anyone in your party has sensor it will tell you to throw healing items at it for ridiculous damage.
>>339148338
DOESN'T ANYONE KNOW HOW TO WORK THIS DAMN THING
IT'S LITERALLY JUST STANDING ON IT AND PRESSING UP AND DOWN
YOU DON'T JUMP
YOU DON'T CROUCH
YOU DON'T CONNECT YOUR SECOND CONTROLLER AND GET YOUR FRIENDS TO USE TAILS TO FLY YOU HIGHER
YOU JUST STAND THE FUCK STILL
I LITERALLY HAD TO GO THROUGH SOME MODERN DAY SONIC FAGGOT WHO WAS STUCK ON THIS PART FOR MORE THAN HALF AN HOUR
I WATCHED HIM
FOR HALF AN HOUR
JUMP ON THE FUCKING THING
UNTIL I TOOK THE CONTROLLER MY FUCKING SELF AND DID IT
>>339154303
Do people really struggle that much to perform a DP? I thought that it was just a meme.
>>339151690
Is there actually an efficient way to kill these things? I beat the game, but it always took so long for me to hammer these things to death.
>>339153334
Wrong fight. the fight on airship is mandatory. and will fucking ruin you if you did not level wakka
You are aware that Lovecraft was racist as fuck right? and bloodborne was made by a Japanese man
>>339151694
Not even hard, just DPS-check really.
>>339153978
mfw clonebay
>>339154472
I've been able to kill them very quickly if I deflect that one-foot stomp attack then form the largest Wonder Hammer that I can muster. I can't do it consistently, though.
>>339154319
Does lighting up the room actually do anything or is it just better for people with low light settings?
>>339152824
I think that's way past the point of a filter.
>>339153339
>optional enemy
>casual filter
>>339148995
Sequel when?
I want more weapon types. Although if it was a sequel to come out these days then I imagine all the guns would be outshined by giant anime swords.
>>339154473
Ah damn, yeah I remember that one, I didn't level wakka but I did use scan which told me to just spam potions/phoenix on it
>>339148467
Come on, that was optional. True casual filters were bosses with spike damage.
>mfw people die left and right because they don't understand why they are taking damage
>>339154674
>I didn't play DMC1
You HAVE to fight one Shadow to get to Nelo Angelo and one after him
I swear to me mum
>>339153339
Oh sweet Jesus the shadow kitty made me want to die. The worst part was the downtime between attempts.
>>339149110
Ironically or not, you are right.
Fuck...
>>339154883
lmao nigga how the fuck is noire even real?? like really nigga? just use the life rings you dumb fuck hahaha holy shit
>>339154473
What?
The fight was easy as fuck if you had sensor on.
Any time Cid's turn is up and if you see/suspect poison breath is coming up just use the move out command.
Also Seymour Flux has got to be the hardest story boss in X.
>>339154883
Get those rings from the store that increase your health by a shit ton. I think they cost 5k or something per. Since your healing skills are % based, you can now easily heal through all the damage.
>>339154521
Nowhere in his writings has he really said anything racist against the Japanese, he was mostly racist against German immigrants, Irish Catholics and Blacks, just like any WASP man, woman or child of those times.
Besides, even if he were racist against Japs he'd probably consider From honorary whites considering how westaboo they are. He married a Jew just because she was "well-assimilated" after all.
>>339154865
I thought it was just a secret fight. Well fuck
Nelo Angelo is harder than that thing either way.
>>339155143
>Nelo Angelo is harder than that thing
Maybe. But the kitty is a much better casual filter,or at least it forced me to git gud.I downed Nelo Angelo first time but struggled against that shadow.
>>339154635
Helps you see better, duh.
>>339147579
>>339148110
>Surt
>Deathbound

>PROFIT
>>339154456
cross-dpad combos are hard as fuck for an 8 year olds thumbs
>>339155287
I couldn't figure Nelo out, he just eventually died after several tries.
>>339152260
Or you could put Ramza as a Squire, tailwind the fuck out of him while running away, and take nine turns while Wiegraf only takes one
>>339155107
Bone
Also, I'm surprised no one posted this yet.
>>339146504
No, Kinship isn't that bad except on NSIC when they become complete bullshit. But even they're still not as bad as Gracious & Glorious.
>>339147357
Seriously, fuck G&G. Harder than most fucking bosses in the game. When it finally starts to click and you git gud enough to fight them without dying constantly though...god it's a good feel.
The casual filter for MMZ1 is the boss of the first real level. The casual filter for MMZ2 is "a" boss in the final level.
>FE Conquest
>Chapter 10
>>339151218
>equip your Medabots with wheel parts
>keep resetting for Streets
It's actually pretty easy if you know what you're doing and get most Medaparts as soon as they are available, but if you enter the castle without at least 3 leg parts that are fast on specific ground you're fucked. If you even get that far in Rokusho version because of that Squidguts boss in the cave.
>>339151690
Fucking these. Even though I know there's still more than one way to kill these fuckers, they still kick my ass, especially on higher difficulties.
>>339151829

>>339156058
I don't know about that one. Super Metroid isn't really a hard game, and I doubt noobs were dying to the eyeball dudes when leaving the room. The only hard 2d metroid game is Fusion, and the casual filter for that one is a very special spider.
>>339156058
I remember actually getting stuck at this part my first time through this game. Holy fuck.
And the solution is so simple and obvious too, yet most people will completely miss it. Truly a casual filter.
>>339146504
>>339153329
I dunno, he'd probably hate that it was made by the Japanese.
>>339156318

Noobs weren't dying to the eyeball dudes, they were gouging out their own eyeballs due to how stupid they were.
Also, spider isn't hard at all and fusion is kinda cheap with the right upgrades.
Pic related should be a good enough casual filter from start to finish.

Shame on me for not knowing the memes. I've beaten the game I just don't recall struggling with that bridge.

I struggled with the spider on my first playthrough and I've watched other people tear their hair out against the spider. Namely because they become averse to the corner safespots because of the flames, get caught in its mouth and crushed.

Did they nerf him in Sigma? Only version I played and it was easy
>>339157519
>Shame on me for not knowing the memes
Joke's on you, this existed before the word "meme" reached the internet. Good thing you knew how to run.
Corners are only good for part of the spider fight. Morph ball though, makes the whole fight a piece of cake because you can dodge most of the attacks by just standing there.
>>339157552

But then what other fucking racing game is there for me? At least the character endings soundlike another tempting challenge.
