I just joined the dual monitor master race, and I want to ask a question. Is there any software that will 'freeze' the game on my main monitor and put my mouse on the second monitor so I can browse the net or whatever?
Still having to alt+tab sucks, hitting a button to change the active monitor would be great. Anything like that out there?

Fullscreen windowed is the best of both worlds, kind of.
Game window gets stretched to "full" but without a title and going over the taskbar, and you can freely change to other screens/windows at your leisure, as long as the game releases the cursor.

My setup is having the desktop span 3-5 screens, you can change layout and position of each screen in the "screen resolution" panel.

There are usually third party programs that can force it, try searching for "[game] windowed fullscreen" or any combination of related keywords whenever you find a game that doesn't have it.

op here, i found something that kinda does what i want.
display fusion has an option called 'prevent window deactivation'.
tried it with zandronum, it does exactly what i want the first time, but wont any more after that. Guess ill have to keep fucking around with it.

I think that one Borderless Gaming program works with ZDoom no problem, so by extension should work with zand too.

That's the worst thing. You can freely move the screens and the displayed image on the screen if you have different monitors, but fixing the color difference is almost impossible.

Are you sure it's not caused by one of them being on HDMI and the other on DVI from your GPU?
Because I'm in the same position and after swapping the cables and monitors around realized the slight off-colouring isn't because of the display itself

I use display port, and they are bother on the same cable brand and everything. It could be a GTX970 thing. This thing is a heap of shit and it disappoints me to this day.
