Is this the best procedurally generated game ever?
The levels aren't even procedurally generated, are they? I always remember the same first and 2nd floors.

You are correct, this game freatures no procedural generation. If you chose 'random world' from the title screen menu it does randomise the order of the levels, however. Presents are also randomised, of course.
what are some other good procedurally generated games?
>>339120312
That can't be right. I played the hell out of this game when I was young and I'm pretty sure the levels on 'random world' were really procedurally generated. Layouts were always different, but you'd get things like level 4 always having a large water area, for example.
>Games that assemble variable levels from premade assets are superior to procedurally generated games.
What the fuck are indie devs doing
Was Worms Armageddon procedurally generated?
>>339123024
I believe so. Vertex manipulation is easysauce in the field of procedural generation.

FUCK yeah Burning Rangers. You muh nigga.
I just want to see some good maps. Could someone post nice world maps?

YES
>>339116376
The guys that made the original are making a new one, apparently.

Shit I forgot that was even a thing. Has there been any update on that yet, or did it just silently die off?
>>339116376

Well, the Kickstarter was successful and they're working on the game. That screenshot is from a batch of new ones that were released a couple months ago: https://www.destructoid.com/catching-up-with-the-new-toejam-and-earl-game-345920.phtml

What did you even do in TJ&E? I have such vague memories of it, I just remember slowly walking around and collecting stuff while avoiding tornadoes.
I was always a fan of Fatal Labyrinth, the first time I ate a turkey and ate myself to death the game had me sold.
>>339126409
the earlier development pictures looked even worse, so I suspect its a work in progress
be glad the didn't totally cop out for the retro indie meme
>>339126454
you're looking for 10ish ship pieces to gtfo "Earth", across about 25 levels
you collect presents to unfuck yourself, but you rarely know what the presents do until you have used them before
>>339126454
Pretty much. Your goal on each floor is to find the elevator to the next floor, and a ship part if there is one.
