Working your way up from just robbing stores/houses to drug dealing to heists and so on until you own a territory and lead your own gang, which opens up a whole gang management part of the game along with the other gameplay. Assigning members to areas to take over territories, offering protection to businesses, making hits on high ranking members of other gangs etc.

You wake up in a Shadow of the Colossus style temple completely naked and all alone. The temple offers relative safety, but limited resources. No tutorial or explanation. You have this starting safe zone and limited food to get used to the games systems. Eventually you must set forth into the wilderness to find new food and shelter.

Procedually generated beats and monsters prowl the lands, with realistic habitats. The physics and AI system of the game simulates their hide/armor/skin, organs, blood, skeleton, and brain. You do not hit them for damage to hit points. You hit them to puncture their hide through the rib cage and impale their lungs, or sever their spine, or crush their skull. Death is realistic for both you and your foes, and it can either come quickly or be a slow, agonizing death as you bleed out or perhaps deal with gasping for air with an injured lung.

Also, the twist is that a randomly generated portion of the procedually created beasts and monsters are sex crazed and will try to rape you on sight and turn you into a breeding sow.

Players will create their own characters with aesthetics and gear but this won't (?) Affect gameplay as it will rely completely on skill. You have the same moves available to you as all the other players; easy to learn, hard to master.

I agree, but I still like the idea behind it. It's more rewarding to have to struggle to kill enemies than to just nuke everything in your path.

Older games had a similar idea, like the first 2 zelda games and pretty much most of the higher quality nes library where you could actually fail and had to endure your way through areas.

Dark souls is mostly the same, but to get the same effect the controls are sluggish and unintuitive, instead of snappy and responsive while the enemies are unforgiving and the level design promotes using your surroundings wisely.

Most souls players don't realise this, but still get the same satisfaction through poor execution of a great idea.

I don't see a way that it would be good just given the tech work that would be involved, but a procedurally generated Marvel/DC (or generic superhero universe if it's really necessary) open world game.

Over time every single hero of relevance gets added and is fully playable with unique movesets and everything.

Scripted story missions also exist but are optional, based off different existing comic arcs along with big events like Crisis on Infinite Earths or Infinity Gauntlet.

Out in the open world some of the other heroes show up every now and then (think Journey's multiplayer but with AI, optionally with other players if you want) and you can team up.

All the different villains exist out in the world and have procedural AI that acts out different crimes and schemes as well as ordering henchmen around. The villains can team up as well along the lines of Legion of Doom or Masters of Evil and stuff like that.

All the known areas of either universe are in as explorable areas that are fully fleshed out, along with some of the alternate universes too.

You have a mana pool that you use up before each mission by choosing which spells you want to equip.

Open World Exploration-Based Dungeon Crawler RPG w/ Survival Elements and Actual, Worthwhile Loot

It sounds like a meme game, but whatever. Essentially I want Dragon's Dogma with a slightly larger map and more dungeons. Hell, I like games with narrative, but give me all of the above and cut the plot entirely, and see if I give a fuck.

Basically a Zeldarksouls game. I'm supes hyped for whenever fucking Zeldii U/NX comes out, the combat in those games has been evolving nicely if you ignore the schizophrenic hit or miss MoCo in Skyward sword.

It would be closer to a Rune Factory art style but capable of getting more dark and drab when necessary

I'd like the story to progress and eventually lead to your Thief skills being used to help overthrow or impact the leaders of the area but I feel like that might get in the way of slice of life role playing farming half so I dont know how id blend the two

The world is a giant deciduous forest. A really massive world. Players can dig, chop shit down, build boats, towns, hunt food to stay alive etc. Basically the whole point of the game though is find the hidden portal out of the world, and basically everyone working together toward that end. There would have to be clues provided to the players (hard to figure out possibly involving trackings stars in game over time and such) and many things to find before it can be put together where the portal is. And then I imagine digging to the portal and traversing the caverns and fighting all the demons guarding it would be tough.
