Honestly, playing Overwatch has just made me wish for another Quake to come out or at least something with FFA on player run servers.
Overwatch is yet another small team based game that requires friends to be good, and I just want to jump into a 32 man Q3 DM server and play for six hours straight.

You can check the beta notes, this used to be a huge problem but they went through and revamped the system. 6 man queues are insanely long even now in retail because of this, my group routinely has 5-8 minute queues before we get games and it's always against a 5 or 6 stack.
It's been like this for a few months now, the system will match you up with stacks of an equal or near equal size and will pretty much never do a 6 man group vs 6 randoms. I've put in around 900 games between closed/open beta and retail and I've literally never seen it happen.You'll probably ask well how do I know? That's because the system combined with MMR means I constantly queue into the same 3-4 stacks all day long with most of them people I recall from the betas.
