But it's still useful for taking out entrenched positions, destroying turrets/bastions and forcing enemies out of cover. It can also be used in hallways where it's unavoidable. There is no problem.

It has its uses but its not exactly stellar. Why would you want a sniper in a hallway position anyway? That's the problem. His ultimate ability is often best used in positions he isn't, or shouldn't be in, and even then its just a case of "oh lets move out of the way for 2 seconds". It doesn't even leave a lingering deterrent, like D.vas ult, which often has the same argument attached to it. I genuinely think this is the worst designed ultimate in the game both in terms of effectiveness and in the way it interacts with the characters normal play style. It would be far better if it had a faster movespeed.
The vagueness of its hitbox confuses the fuck out of me when it can go through walls and kill you even if its past you. Idk how this is an easy ult to dodge. Even when I used it I tended to get about 2-3 kills with it.
