Just bought a Black New 3DS. Upgrading from my old White XL. It's pretty fricken sweet. I want to get Hyrule Warriors and Smash Bros. I have them both on Wii U but I feel I'd play them a lot more on a 3DS. What do you guys think?

Smash plays pretty much the same, and I found the exclusive mode to be meh, thought it does have some really fun stages.
Hyrule Warriors runs like ass, even on the N3DS. I'd skip it.
Haven't really used my 3DS too much this year, haven't decided if I'll play Zero Time Dilemma on it or give my Vita an excuse to be charged up for the first time in two years.

With the ciangel ticketing thing, the database that you download tickets from is entirely user generated. Somebody has to actually buy the title and dump some sort of header from it to generate the tickets. So why the fuck does nintendo not sell regular DS games on the eshop? I wanna play some of the stuff I missed out on from that era, but my only options are hunting for copies on ebay, or emulation/homebrewing. The hardware can clearly play them, so I don't really understand what they're doing

A quick Google search isn't that tough. Hell, all I did was visit every Gamestop in a 20 mile radius and got a shitload of rare gems like pic related.
-MonHun 4U. If you have the patience, you can hold off a month for the new one. Or you can go the pirate's way.
-Yo-Kai Watch. Pokemon-like yet not really. More action-y and cartoonish. Weird game, but really fun.
-Xenoblade Chronicles 3D. Exclusive to N3DS.
-Zelda remakes
-Bravely Default. Bretty gud weebshit with AMAZING class system. Essentialy FFV's improved job system.
-Pokemon X/Y and ORAS. ORAS is collectathon as fuck due to Mirage Spots; essentially all legendaries are catchable save for some event ones. After a while X/Y Pokemon become available to catch.
-SMT IV. Haven't played it yet, but it's SMT. Pokemon with demons. Hard as shit, especially for a weeb game. First person, so if that's not your thing avoid it.

It seems like they're really anal about their VC titles all having the same UI and features. This is why the GBA VC was scrapped even though they did it with ambassador titles, because running things directly on the DS hardware means no VC overlay or any 3DS features without hard rebooting back to 3DS mode. The same issue would obviously apply to DS games. It's also why they only added SNES VC to the N3DS, as an accurate emulator + the standard VC shit wouldn't play well with the majority of games on the O3DS specs.
They probably view uniformity very important. Don't want to get customers who don't understand why they can't access their friends list while playing DS eshop games, or make miiverse posts about them or something.
