The thing is, bear anatomy isn't the same as gorilla anatomy. People say gorillas are strong because they can bench press a million tons but bears can't so gorillas are obviously stronger. The problem with this is a bear doesn't have an anatomy that lets them bench press very well. It's not that they're not insanely strong, the shape of their body just makes it physically hard for them to assume the correct position to do a bench press.
One thing to consider about gorillas though is that they're fucking pussies. They're herbivores and scared of absolutely everything. They might look strong and have big muscles, but the purpose of those muscles is to get them laid.
