I'm having more and more trouble playing genji
at beta it was pretty easy as everyone was predictable, you could guide your shots and get tons of headshots. Now when I get in close behind a widowmaker or a support after the first trio of shurikens they begin leaping everywhere and spazzing out making it almost impossible to properly guide those laggy ass shurikens.
Otherwise, Genji really need a competent team to work effectively. You can stall a capture for a solid 10 seconds or so with a full enemy team but if your fellow tards won't come up then it's GG. Equally, you need distractions otherwise you get focussed down on and genji can't really take on 2 players at the same time if their fully focussed on killing you.
Anyway, what sensitivity are you usuing for genji? I had to put mine up to 60 as turning round in my ult as a massive pain and now that everyone leaps fucking everywhere I have to be able to turn quickly

You have to react. Sometimes even the few bullets he's reflected before you stop firing do enough damage to tip the fight in his favor. Hell, he can use it and then cancel it into slash when you stop clicking, and now have to re-react to him cancelling it early. I've killed plenty of people stopping to reload and are now sitting ducks.

Soldier's two biggest issues are his heal and his sprint.
Because everyone moves so slow, his sprint lets him get away from basically anyone but Tracer and Lucio and Lucio shouldn't be chasing down DPS for kills. Then the heal lets him reset any fight while also being an absurdly good group heal.

The key to playing Genji is using FEAR and the element of surprise to goad people into reflexively shooting at you. In that small window of weakness, you deflect and finish with shuriken and/or blade. If you miss that window, retreat or die. You have failed.

Ye either that or make here left click also lock onto allies which then provides a shield boosting ability, think as an extra buffer. Doesn't have to be much but for example raise the shield from the 25 to 100 points. Holding it on a target would recharge it slowly, at a rate slower than any healer but it would give her some more utility than shooting slow as fuck orbs through Reinhardt shields while your ult charges. Releasing results in your target reverting back to 25 shield points after say 2-3 seconds? So you can juggle it at the risk of losing it on your tank for example.
It would also mean you can use her on offense, since on some maps getting that teleporter up close to the point or cargo is tempting but her being so shit on offense negates that to the point that you become a liability.

No characters can get behind enemy lines like he can, so he's great at capture the objective. But it depends on the stage, certain stages you should just avoid picking him. No character is more reliant on stage design like he is. Hanamura, Temple of Anubis and King's Row are excellent stages for Genji.

When I play Genji, my main objective isn't to slay every opponent and be the ultimate ninja headhunter but to take more of a Kuroko approach. I stay mobile behind enemy lines and use height as well as my teammates to gauge where my opponents are, pestering them with shuriken but never pressing them. I'm gone before the last shuriken hits them. This usually causes them to panic and turn around leaving them open for family or do enough damage to secure the assist. I never stop moving and never commit to an engagement unless the opponent is near death.

The lower HP they have, the faster it will lock on. They also have to stay within your line of sight.
Most of the time, you'll end up only killing one or two people with it, since most people with half a brain will move to cover as soon as you pop your ult.
It is great in big team fights though, since the other team is too distracted to deal with you.
Stay out of sight and pick your battles.

Deflect their bullets and then dash out of there. He is meant as distraction and deflection not out right damage dealing. His double jump and wall climb is great for flanking or getting into turret nests. Also his dash is omnidirectional so you can zip away easily from any fight.

You pick her when you need a flanking tank with high survivability and medium damage.
Get used to dash+melee to open attacks, don't forget that you actually can deny a lot of shit with her e, like pharah ult and just learn when to dash out to the nearest healthpack. after 10 seconds you will be back with 70% health in the fight.
Than you will start to actually do shit with her.

Pharah shouldn't even be able to get more than 1 second of ultra if you have Widow/soldier/mcree, or others. Her damage output compared to other tanks is just bad. Other tanks just do it easier and have more effective ultras. She is like a Winston but with an awkward M1 that also basically paralyzes her when she uses it.

Honestly, you can only really deflect ults if the other player places a bad ult, or you're lucky.
If you had the chance to reflect an ult in the first place, the ult was probably placed so badly that almost no one would be killed by it in the first place.

aim ahead of where they're going to be. The arrows are pretty sticky so if they're moving aim in front of the upper half of their model and you'll headshot them. Use radar arrows all the time and scattershot the floor infront of people

Skilled McREEEs just cancel it when a D.Va flies into their face, but most people panic and shoot.
