I can't remember the last game this happened to me with. I played the MP beta and hated it but every source I trust said the single player was worth it.
I didn't grow up with doom so maybe I don't understand why everyone loves it so much.
I grew up playing FPS games like Time splitters, medal of honor (which is now a dead franchise) and COD1 and 2.
My favorite FPS is BF4 currently. I love L4D2 and counter strike( I am shit at that though).

The fatal flaw was the map layout and objectives were so awful chokepoint hallways and impossible computer terminals, and no way to get any teammates to help you.

I'm quite literally haunted by my ex-best friend. We didn't have a future romantically, partially because I was I no-good slob and because, well, it just wouldn't have worked, end even after over a half a year of not having any contact I still have imaginary conversations with her every single day and dream about her on a regular basis.

Bioware scored so many god damn points with me after Origins. Was it perfect? Hell no, but I still enjoyed it a whole lot. So when I noticed that its sequal was coming out, I think twice about buying it. I recall buying either on day one or the day after, full price.

Man I gave that game 72 hours of honest effort and I hated it.
I never got the hang of what you were supposed to do, seemed completely random whether you win big or lose horribly.

Game was solid but Uber desperately wanted to be Riot and monetized the shit out of it aggressively before it even had a decent playerbase and then they quickly decided it wasn't making enough money, set up a kickstarter for Planetary Annihilation to start the process all over again, and then completely abandoned SMNC. They literally handed it over to some dude on the forums to manage. The last update automated the weekly free hero rotation so they could literally abandon it.
Then surprise, exact same shit happens with Planetary Annihilation.

The card system is janked as fuck. It makes no sense. They also need to focus more on the wall running. Other than that...Im going to go reinstall it right now.
Oh wait...nevermind. They still run the entire game's interface and UI as a separate application that can crash at any time making the game unplayble. This process also can become a zombie process causing a memory leak.
