I know console gamers are used to the idea that if you can run the frontend you can run any games associated with it, but that's not how Steam works, it's a separate client with its own system requirements, which are so low that even an old smartphone can easily run it.
They tried to run Bastion on Steam through the PS4 and it lagged the hell out, a game which sys. requirements are a 1.7 Ghz dual core and a DirectX 9.0 compliant GPU and it's nothing short of an embarrassment that your PS4 can't even run it at an acceptable framerate.
