Did you enjoy Bayonetta 2 /v/?
Not as good as Bayo 1, but probably in my top 5 games of the current gen.

I like it more than the first one. The first one is harder, but Bayonetta 2 is so refined it's just the best. A legit 10/10 game.

Bayo 1 is a better game. It's better balanced, it's more rewarding, yadda yadda.
That said, I enjoyed 2 more and I suspect the only reason for that is the art style change, which is a petty as fuck reason to enjoy a game more.

Bayonetta 2 is much easier on the eyes. Just that little splash of blue on like everything was fantastic. Even the not so blue levels like Hell are still cool too.

I only finished it once, on the hardest difficulty you can choose on the first playthrough. Still worth it, every level was enjoyable and full of action, for some reason I enjoyed it way more than the first one.

Was everything I wanted from a sequel.
The biggest highlight for me in the original Bayonetta were the set pieces. So the entire plane segment in the prologue, surfing the tidal wave, riding a fucking Demon Horse through the blood lakes of hell, taking on the Lumen Sage whilst two massive deity's are duking it out in the background and more just hit the spot.
I still maintain that the Lumen Sage battles are probably the most intense and satisfying boss fights this generation.
My only gripe is that they didn't use Moon River nearly enough.
Lots of cool new weapons, better visuals, good story but worse than the first, Loki is a horrible trade for a side character, the last boss was ass and the game was significantly easier. I played on the hardest difficulty, and it was a challenge sometimes, but wasn't overwhelming. Since I did that, I really don't have a reason to replay it at all though.

Bayo2 is a fantastic game. Story, Loki and the final boss are kinda worthless, but the core gameplay is more satisfying than tittyfucking gianna michaels while eating velvet cake and getting your prostate stimulated hard.
fantastic music, bosses and weapons. Anyone who says this isn't the best game on Wii U deserves to see their entire family murdered before their eyes, what a fantastic game.
