So I bought DS3 and I love the gameplay, it's great, but how does From get away with this shit? I didn't realize it was THIS bad... The models behind the play area look like they were ripped straight from a ps2 game. Yet they're still able to put out titles, no matter their state, and those titles are talked about and promoted by the public as though they're "AAA" quality. What the fuck guys.. How'd it come to this?

Because by the way the level is designed, you aren't going to see that sort of thing unless you deliberately look for it. Some of it does end up in the intended line of sight, but not very often.

There are no or very very few dynamic shadows in the game. Torch doesn't produce any.

Ive seen times where the game just takes a minute to load in the texture if you look at something too quickly, but ive only seen that get bad on the PS4 version.

If you guys don't want games on console just say so. There's virtually no AAA game that has decent LODs that is on the same scale as Dark Souls.

Alright so from what I've seen starting class isn't even a value anymore for your character.
If I wanted to use cheat engine to change my starting class, would I just change the stats to match the stats of the class at whatever level I would be?
The only reason DS2 and DS3 exists is because From signed a contract back before DS1 with Bandai saying they will do DS3. While From wanted to work on other titles in between Dark Souls entry Bandai said they wanted a Dark Souls in 2014 and 2016. They are rushed made without half the care that was put into DS1.
