Honestly, if you take away vidya mechanics from Doomguy and have him only just have his weapons and power armor, Doomguy probably will die since KC can just literally remove his helmet and splat him. The vidya mechanics are what matter here. Take them away, and Doomguy is just a hardcore marine with extreme levels of plot armor.
Diavolo sure as fuck could not survive against Dante and Virgil, who are literally immortal and are above and beyond superhuman. I'll stand by that statement.

King Crimson has two parts to it:
1. Epitaph is the ability that Doppio uses, where KC's tiny angry face can predict for up to ten seconds in the future, and one can use this information however you want. The fight withRisottoshows this ability off most clearly.
2. KC can erase an event from happening, but things will resume as normal as if the event actually happened. This is the ability that everyone confuses the most simply because it's not explained very well in the manga and the current English translations are shit. In the manga, Doppiois about to be shot by Aerosmith as Risotto laid underneath him. KC's ability erased the part where Doppio got attacked, but the bullets still traveled as if the were moving in a straight trajectory and killed Risotto underneath.
The explanation of the Futurama episode is what all of the characters see as a result of King Crimson. Time seems to be skipping, but characters are going about their lives like things were happening normally. Only thing is it's missing the bit about erasing events from happening.

The SPARTAN system and the MJOLNIR armor are the closest things humanity can realistically get to 40k bullshit power armor so far (and even then it's a colossal stretch because the amount of power and mechanics that would need to work into that are probably literally impossible), whereas Doomguy's armor just means he doesn't get insta-killed by minions of Hell.
