I stopped hardcore gaming on it a while ago, but every now and then I get the urge to mode it even further and push its limits. Last time I did that I actually got a working version on cps3 on it that runs SF 3rd strike and warzard semi perfectly, with the sound disabled. I also finally got a working version of an n64 emulator that isn't complete shit. Can run sm64 in 60 frames with sound enabled and silky smooth gameplay.
Currently, I am trying to get sega 32x and Saturn to run correctly. I've gotten Saturn to boot, but running games has issues.
I'd also like to note that I have found a way to make fallout 1 & 2 playable with the dos engine, although the controls are heavily convoluted and the fps is a bit shit. Hoping to find some way to increase fraps to make it a lot more playable in the near future.

I keep forgetting that you have to exit the emulator to actually save. Lost some progress as a result. It's a little tedious to have to quit out periodically, but I'm still having fun. Might switch it over to my Vita, since FTP is a thing.
I'm hoping someone releases whatever beta build they have for the oblivion psp game, just like they did for that terrible, terrible saints row game. At least the gameplay for oblivion looks accurate.

All the DJMax games are good but Clazziquai probably has my favorite song selection. There's also Taiko no Tatsujin DX which I still continue to play and the Project Diva games.
If you want a single recommendation then definitely go with Taiko.

My 3K is more or less useless. Changed the faceplate and it works but it doesn't sit right and the overall condition sucks.
Playing PSP games on my Vita right now but it's clunky so I use PPSSPP sometimes.

Yes. Its easy as heck to do, supports all models of the PSP and still has an active community to this day. Memory Stick Pro Duo cards are cheap, but if you want to go even cheaper get a micro SD and an adapter.

Dracula X chronicles and emulating the ps1 version of Breath of fire 3.
I use it more then my 3ds at this point, I'm excited for kirby planet robobot and dq7 but all the emulators on my psp keep me coming back while my 3ds gathers dust.

MonHun Freedom Unite is probably the game I've spent the most time on. I still play it with people on PPSSPP to this day. Spent a good amount of time playing Tactics Ogre too.

Ps1 can actually run naturally on psp so an emulator isn't used. I recommend going on youtube and searching for a tutorial, typically they provide download links for everything you need. It's a bit more complicated then just putting an emulator on but it took me less then 10 min.

Just sold my 3000 and games, along with my old 360 + games in order to buy Overwatch on PC. I did have the foresight to dump my PSP's library to my computer beforehand, though, so I can just use PPSSPP to pick up where I left off.

Hey, I used to contribute to Emuparadise in making EBOOTS, if you are feeling lazy you can check out the site and they have a section in the handhelds category titled, PSX2PSP ISO's.
Those are just drag and drop into the GAMES folder and beat the hassle of converting the PS1 games yourself.

Don't know, never owned a 3SD. You can map any button to the right stick, not only that but the 4 corners of the touch screen as well and if that's not enough, if you can run PSP homebrew apps you can use Macro Fire and really get some customizing going.

Just download PSN classics eboots. They're just like roms at this point and they have a way better compatibility(few even had some major emulation bug fixes) than custom made eboots. The only ones you need to worry about are the ones that never made it to PSN classic.

Left it at my folks' by mistake when I moved last year so I'm not playing anything on it, but even if I still had I'd probably just buy a bigger SD card and a new battery and only use it as a media platform now. The outer casing is cracked pretty bad because I've had it for almost ten years now and I've pretty much played every game I cared about on it.

I have a 2000, Go, and a Vita 2000.
I literally use my Vita to exclusively play PSP games because of the bigger display, bilinear filtering, and faster performance on games that don't cap their FPS at 30.
Wipeout Pulse actually runs at 60FPS on the Vita because the emulated PSP core runs at 444MHz instead of the standard 222MHz or the OC'd 333MHz on CFW.
