Good day, I am struggling to find an old chess game which I played when I was a little kid (It was aroud 2000), google research gave me nothing or maybe I havent searched hard enough, anyway - What I remember that those chess were animated with creepy music background and the "Kills" were pretty cruel - when you lost a game your King was impaled by spikes and as long as I remember pawns deployed some sort of bombs to kill other pawns, that's all I remember.
Oh, And Elephant was a tall figure with a long polearm and Horseman got a demonic look.

I remember playing it as a kid too.
Honestly, I prefer LEGO Chess.
You can find Combat Chess on GOG though if you want to nostalgia.
While we're at it, does anyone remember this game where you play as a dog and your dog girlfriend gets abducted by aliens. After defeating some flying saucer at the end, your computer's CPU shows up as the true final boss.
It's an old 2D side-scroller for Macintosh and I think you can shoot toast as projectiles.

It even spawned a board game based on it, called chess.
Let's try this. A 3D bowling game on windows XP, I only had a trial, but you had to control the ball with your mouse down these really long lanes with big turns. One of the levels I think might have been in a prehistoric jungle.
