I always check these threads to see what other anons are up to but never post my own. Everyone in these thread always seem to be leagues better than what I can do. I usually end up posting highlights and things that spontaneously happen and have gotten some ok feedback from friends (who are pretty much the sole reason I like to make videos) but I'd like to do more commentary focused things sometimes for people I don't know who found and liked my stuff.
How do you guys do it? The ones that get footage and actually speak directly to an audience. Do you write an outline or just practice public speaking?

Well I focused a lot on editing and production for a long time because that was what interested me at the time. Now that I'm comfortable with that I'd like to start trying to become a better speaker and I was just looking for some advice from someone with experience so I could try and find my direction. Pretty good. It captures most of my disappointment with DaS3 and why I couldn't bring myself to play it more than once. I think you could've emphasized a bit more on just how Bloodborne manages to be extremely creative and original despite being part of this franchise that's quickly wearing itself out. Personally I think if they can keep making games that have as much of their own identity as that game, making more Souls games would be fine.
Also if I can offer some advice, I think you need to speak faster. It sounds a lot like you were reading off a script, word for word, which makes the whole video sound very monotone and... well, boring. You also sound like you're trying to be very careful with every word that you say. I think you'd be better off just making a list of keywords and speaking your mind off of those. If not, just practice sounding more natural and not like you've got your head stuck in the paper the whole time.
