Ok guys, what are your opinions on this game
Can't get much more casual for a game forcing a competitive scene so hard.
Okay but not worth the price

I plan on getting it but the over hype is stopping me
would buy if it was like $20
>mfw Blizzard will pump millions into an artificial e-sports scene for this
>Highlights will include one guy shitting his pants, just standing around as Torbjorn while the crowd goes nuts for it
It's fun and all but they're gonna do this
Hurry up and release your fucking game already blizzard, it's bad enough you gated me from your closed beta.
Don't ever play with randoms and then blame it your team after you lose.
Also my opinion doesn't matter.
(Just play the game for yourself and see if you like it)
As a casual when it comes to FPS, it's satisfying yet unsatisfying at the same time. I would buy it if it wasn't at the standard price of $60.
Had enough fun to justify a $40 purchase. Figure I'll get a decent amount of playtime out of it before I get bored.

The game is actually $40. The Origins Edition, which is more heavily advertised than the standard, is $60.
I haven't played it, so I don't really feel like my opinion would be worth much, but here's a bump. :)

Fun but shallow.

Pros:
>Fun with people you know aka a team
Cons:
>Fun for about an hour before you get bored
Silver Lining:
>SFM for this game has been exquisite
Goty and the lol/dota2 killer. Future of esports and twitch streaming.
I would think that a shitload of characters each with different weapons would mean everyone will just blow each other up and there's no real strategy behind combat besides "pray you don't die".
That being said, it seems like a lot of people enjoy it, so I suppose that prediction is wrong. Still though, not worth me shelling out the money for, since I'm not a huge fan of this genre anyway, save for the occasional TF2 kick. But then again, TF2 is free.

>inb4
>The price is too expensive, i will buy it if it's XX
>It's casual
>It's a blizz product
>It's not TF2
>Press Q to win
>It's waifu bait
>Battlestillborn is better
I like it better when it was called Team Fortress 2

I agree with more than half those arguments but I still bought it. I just like the fact that I'm getting 2007 golden-age-TF2 vibes from it.
