Its a sandbox RPG, you make the most of it.
You can be the conqueror of all the kingdoms, be a loyal vassal to one, become a mercenary for kingdoms, become a merchant. It does get a bit boring once you've completed your role playing task.
Probably the best strategy for someone like you is to conquer the entire map which is very difficult assuming you have 100% difficulty.

When a game creator has the intention of taking a pc game and cross developing it for a console, the pc version of the game inevitably gets downgraded, and thus the game gets worse overall. PCs are just plain and simple more capable than consoles in every conceivable way.
