Seriously, though. I doubt we'll see that kind of technology in prosthetics. I think it will be more likely that when the technology is that advanced, prosthetic limbs will instead be lab-grown biological limbs very similar to the ones we got.

no reason a program couldn't be written to have the fingers recognize where on a guitar they need to be place to make the desired sound, then just load up a song and the hand will automatically fiddle the frets properly

Not within 2 generations. The best myoelectric prosthetis we have can only do 2 or 3 degrees of freedom. what they do is have the user change the grip of the prosthetic hand with their nonfucked hand, or by pulsing the controller muscle in different patterns. You cant actually every finger individually. You'll have a pinching grip, a soda can grip, a clapping grip, etc.
It'll take at least 200 years until we get to the point where we switch from myoelectrics to actually reading nerve signals and controlling individual joints
