I say this as someone who was never really interested in these games other than looking at the porn occasionally (not OP, but same applies to me), but all the other girls seemed really boring to me. None of them came off as distinct at all except for the bird woman. They were all just "girl with brown hair", "girl with purple hair" to me. Marie and Honk at least have different bodies than the rest.

Anyway people who do hate her, hate the whole reason behind Marie and Honoka as characters, they were created with modern trending designs for Anime and Idol culture, for this reason they upstaged all previous mainstay characters.
The fact the DOAX3 cast was decided solely on popularity votes, got Marie and Honoka guaranteed spots while, characters that have been in DOA since day one got dropped because they simply didn't get enough votes.
I don't care really, it's sad that DOAX3 was made on a popularity poll, but I like Honkers.
