>capture six star systems
>have to give up three because of retarded negotiating system
Stellaris thread
The too high warscore is pure bullshit.
If my fleet is big enough to conqour all of his planets then they should be mine.
>conquer enemy
>vassalize them
>they just join the war even though they hate your guts
>there are no cons to just vassalizing everyone
cant catch up in tech, always late.
should i focus on cheap tech?

>capture planets from alien scum
>you have to negotiate for them before you can commit genocide
>>338139007
tfw space caliphate is too big for my noob ass empire
>enemy AI does not know how to handle doom stacks
>federation allies focus on building doom stacks
>plan to conquer a federation
>after 3 wars they have literally nothing to destroy anymore
>have to wait for them to rebuild so i can destroy again, to rebuild after
>>338139737
What is a doom stack?
>>338141352
Extremely large armada
>>338141352
Very large fleet
At one point I had a masterfleet of 500k including alliance partners
Lagged like crazy though
>Decide to play a tech-focused pacifist empire
>Choose hyperspace travel
>Encounter my neighbours early on, they're blocking my hyperspace lanes for further exploration
Welp, guess I'm shifting focus to military again.
>>338141539
Hyperspace is only good for aggressive expension
I want to go full robo.
Is it worth it to grab a base pacifism ethic just for the 10% happiness building/moral democracy? I want my synths happy, comfortable and not trying to kill all biologicals in the galaxy.
>>338141590
B-but I wan't to be friends with everyone anon
>>338141726
From what I know, sentient synths can be prevented from becoming a crisis if you give them full rights to do whatever
>>338141814
Than you should have gone for wormholes
>>338141847
They do benefit from happiness modifiers though, right? So on top of the 20% bonus efficiency my super happy metalheads would be pretty productive.
>>338141874
the games said that wormholes is for advanced players but it is bull shit, the maintenance of stations is ridiculously cheap, you just have to cover the galaxy with stations early game and voilĂ you can warp just where you want any time.
>>338142034
How do wormholes work. If i go to a system that has no station how does my felet get back? How far can i go that doesn't have a station?
>>338142264
Building a station outside a solar system's gravity well creates a large radius around the system.
When in the wormhole's system, you can move to any other system within the radius. Any fleet anywhere within the circle can return to the system the wormhole generator is located in.
Essentially you can't get stranded unless the wormhole is destroyed or removed.

>I want my synths happy, comfortable and not trying to kill all biologicals in the galaxy.
>not trying to kill all biologicals in the galaxy
>sparing the meatbags
>ever
you doin it wrong mate
>play the game for hours and hours
>been eyeing up a planet close to me
>didn't have tech, so just explored the entire place around it
>finally put it down
>"You have encountered to T'jell Primacy"
>scroll out
>mfw overwhelming empire
>mfw lost science + construction ship
>mfw how did I not encounter them hours before
God damn where in the defines are the numbers for starting fleet? I wanna tweak it to double so I can actually deal with shit early without bankrupting my empire.
