It was alright. Fun visuals, some cool dogfighting. I actually really liked Kylo Ren as a character, but not everyone agrees. The new protagonists are all fine. Some people don't like them very much but they're inoffensive to me. Way too much emphasis on Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon, and not enough on my nigga Poe. But Kylo is really the movie's greatest strength
Overall the plot really, really closely follows A New Hope, and it's bullshit that it's still a small rebellion fighting the First Order since apparently the new republic can't be bothered to defend itself. Even though the characters were good the bad plot made the whole movie feel like wasted potential
