also it bugs me that deep sea prisoner makes games for story when it's so easy to at least fake having gameplay in RPGMaker RPGs. how hard would it have been to give enemies interesting attacks? would've added more flavor too

Doesn't really help that the garbage weapon always nukes every enemy with status effects, effectively eliminating any challenge the game may have had.

But, seeing how the MC remake REMOVED combat, I assume he has no intention of keeping it in anyway.
