I don't think there is a single song in the game that isn't atleast good. My favorite OST of the last few years.
Also "easier than Yoshi Island" is a silly complaint, it is not easier than Yoshi Island, both games are about the same difficulty unless you're 100%ing. The only level in YI i had any trouble with was the moving cave and only going for 100%.

Epic Yarn is only difficult if you go for a 100% no damage run where you speed through the level trying to get as many badges as you can, then it becomes an absolute nightmare.

Fantastic OST, great level designs, tight gameplay, legit comfiness, a lot of attention to detail and imaginative scenarios, a 2 player coop mode that is a blast to play and it's also even challenging at times. 10 out of 10.

I agree that the game is pretty easy.
Playing mellow mode co-op makes it a fucking walk in the park, but it really captures a lot of the great things from yoshi's IslandAlso if you get a girl to play co-op with you, she will melt with all the cute things

How does this game compare to Dong Freeze in difficulty?
I've gotten to W7 on non-Hard in that but never got all the secret levels in YIDS, but I hear people claiming Yoshi games are much easier, etc. and don't know what to think.

It's definitely easier. Kind of like the Mario games, easy as fuck at the beginning, but challenging at the end, especially if you go for a 100% and unlock the secret stages, which you should totally do.

I'd buy a Wii U second hand and buy a big SD card. There's currently a kernel exploit and you can get the games that are worth playing, but aren't worth 60 bucks like StarFox, Pikmin 3, etc.
But you can buy the solid multiplayer titles like Splatoon, Mario Maker, Mariokart, and Xenoblade.

I'd 100% agree, it's an improvement on all the other Yoshi games and has tons of heart and personality. Lots of detail and thought went into the game, and you can tell. I'm just saying if he's worried about it being too expensive and he needs games to hold him off while he saves up for a PC upgrade, he could always do the kernel exploit for either the not so good games like starfox or use it to emulate DS, SNES, and N64 games. I do the latter and it's been fantastic, as there were a lot of games I missed out on. Also, being able to play games like Mario Party 3 and Mario Kart N64 with some buds is loads of fun.
