streets of LA did it pretty decently for the time.
I had fun with that game, i crashed a car so hard it was motionless but the game thought it was still moving, so the MC would bail from the car like it was speeding along. I was popping out and scaring pedestrians

Then you have bad memory, one of the fire moves can be spammed to cover large distances without touching the ground. And one of them is a rocket that does the most damage against bosses.
