How would I git gud as a mercenary on /v/ level of difficulty? Do I just run around a lot, spamming whirlwinds and occassionaly dash attacks / eviscerate while hoping I can get enough hoofs to dodge funballs?

The only way to actually win as Mercenary is to just jew the items. Most enemies have contact damage, fast melee attacks or long ranged attacks. Your best bet is to try to aim to get Ancient Scepter ASAP

Here's the secret to every single class in /v/ ror.
You try and survive till the first loop. during the worm pocalypse you better have a few hooves, frost relic and a shield battery. everything else is optional.
Survival with enforcer? Find the best spots in any single map(usually a corner next to a geyser) and shield up.

Only magma barrack level with lava-at-very-bottom layout has Miner. You need to walk through the lava in the bottom of the level and go right. There, you will see a capsule and then an Elder Lizard with boss status will spawn. Defeat the Elder Lizard and you unlock Miner

People working hard jobs tend to build muscles.
Those who load and unload cargo, miners, lumberjacks are often muscular type because of the weight they have to pick up working.
Running an hour and pumpinh iron for an hour every day will keep you fit, smashing rocks, demolishing buildings, you name more examples, for 6-8 hours a day will eventually turn you into a very muscular person.

Carrara Marble is actually pretty interesting and has creative uses if you got a few Rapid Mitosis.

Foreign Fruit is not good with Glass on at all. I've tried the Decoy a lot of times, but it does a worse job at luring mobs than Engie's turrets, since they get distracted by a series of short periods. Also it doesn't last long in glass either with all those funballs hitting it. A shame since the concept could have been fun.

Niggz indeed. I'm the same anon who suggested Blue boxes for Drones (and yellow for Boss items) a few threads back. Best thing about running non-command is the armada of infinite dronage buzzing over head. Just a damn shame multiplayer sans-Command is a malincentivised nightmare.
I get the feeling Marble has potential, but its dependent on class and knowing what's coming up, which one doesn't always have the luxury. Maybe Mid tier given that it is pretty good within those parameters.

Oh yeah, you also have to spend money to get drones, given that they have differing power levels. Laser and Flamethrower are the most expensive, Basic and Healer the cheapest.
