Why don't Like-Likes use the shields they absorb as shields to fend off attacking fairy boys?
They would, but those shields and tunics are too tasty to pass up. Except those mirror shields and green tunics, those are yucky.
My heart used to sink every time I entered a room and could hear that creepy sound they would make as they move. Oddly enough though the fear would immediately go away every time they ate me.
