I played through the game and while it was nothing amazing, it's a solid 6/10.

Uncharted 2 was objectively better than Drake's Fortune in every single conceivable way. To make a claim like that discredits their entire review.

Remember the New Vegas fiasco where Obsidian didn't get a huge multi million dollar bonus because they were 1 metacritic point off from the requirement?

Microsoft released the UWP converter.
Basically, the way it works is that you can run something like The Witcher 3 (they actually used TW3 to demo live) through this thing and BOOM it works on all Windows devices.

It's not average fanboyism, a below average 4/10 score for this game when the reviewer essentially says nothing about the game is stupid, what his review essentially amounts to is ''the visuals in this game don't communicate with the viewer, instead they are shown to the viewer''. This guy is a troll and didn't even issue a score for his own review and most likely made it up on the fly when metacritic asked him for one.

He already had his score given with his review when he handed it over to The Washington Post. The Washington Post has a strange policy of not including the reviewer score when they post the article on their website but sill give the score the reviewer gave to Metacritic. I don't like the review but the guy has the right to his opinion even if the article is poorly constructed.
