Basically it's a port of One Way Heroics by the people who do all the Mystery Dungeon/Shiren the Wanderer games.

Well, apparently not, it's just an electronic book. But this game is referenced on SmokingWolf's site, so it isn't just a ripoff.
Wonder how different it's gonna be, since it doesn't look like PC will see it released.
I wouldn't pay more than 5 bucks for it because the concept is not fleshed out enough. (I played One Way Heroics on PC)

The game is being developed by a studio that's been pumping out roguelikes for longer than most anons have existed. Hard to say how fleshed out it will be compared to the original.

Really? I thought it was pretty well fleshed out for a rogue-like. Almost every item could be used was multi-purpose, there were multiple win conditions, and the game never felt unfair. The only issue I had with the game was how abusable the Dimensional Vault was.

Also just checked the OWH steam forums, some people who imported it were complaining that they added typical MD traps to the game (Knockback, Naked, etc) and that they made most companions useless.

Knockback trap sounds like it will make you think twice before trying to hurl an unbeatable enemy into darkness.
