For me they need to do 3 things to make me want to buy it again:
>make fists viable, unless you were spamming energy beams at all times you were going to have a stupidly tough time with everything
>really beef up the customisation right down to individual eyes, armour pieces, hell make them upgradable so we can actually wear what we want instead of everyone running around in end game armour
>remove the RNG, the last thing people want to to in a fighting game is grind for items, it was a big reason why a lot of people dropped the game

Not really no, although I skipped the Tenkaichi series.
The Budokai series was justified because it progressed through the DBZ story more with each game and introduced a slew of fighters for every sequel. Now it's just more time travel shenanigans with maybe some old movie villains on the side.

Xenoverse 1 was easily one of the most boring DB games, so I dont have high hopes. I want another game like Budokai or Tenkaichi, both were fucking great. I dont know why, but despite /v/ hyping Xenoblade I found it terrible and shallow.
New town area and cutscenes look pretty good, but all I want is the combat system from BT 3 in Xenoverse and I'm happy
And a way around 2v1 fights because getting interrupted by some piss weak ki blasts over and over tilts you like crazy

I made a fist viable character, though I had to go through rock-lee levels of specialization in terms of stat allocation, clothes selection, and buff moves.
I didn't even grind, I used a save editor.
But I could wreck most people my level within two or three combos.
It will be mediocre again and not even close to what BT3 was

I just kind of hope they give the full DBZ experience by introducing Borderlands levels of level scaling.
I know conciously it would suck form a gameplay perspective, but from a flavor standpoint, level 10s being completely incapable of scratching level 20s would be hilarious as fuck and faithful to the lore.
