When I was a little kid, I stole my friend's Zelda: OoT on n64 when it was the big game out at the time. I stuck it in my backpack, then I asked him if we could play it and when he couldn't find it, I fake helped him look for it. I went home, delete his save file and played it in secrecy. The next week on my birthday, he gave me a brand new copy of Zelda: OoT because he remembered how much I liked it, said his would turn up someday and we could play on our own time and find secrets and stuff.
I considered sneaking his copy back and sticking it somewhere in his room, but I got greedy and traded it for Mario Kart 64 at the local game store.

When I was little I was playing Pokemon Ruby while I was over at a friend's house, he said he'd teach me how to clone Pokemon but I said I was afraid of losing my Pokemon (Blaziken) so he promised to give me his FireRed if my Pokemon was deleted because he was so confident, so while I was doing the whole cloning process I released it without him noticing and just showed him when the game was saving and me turning off my GBA.
When I turned it on I acted all surprised and appalled and demanded FireRed, he was a really nice guy so he gave it to me without putting up a fight.
I like my PS4, but Sony not allowing externals was pretty jew.
When playing TF2, I use the gunslinger/pistol combo to bully scrubs in KOTH maps and tell them to just not run at it when they complain in chat.

But some stuff is just too good and I can honestly say without nostalgia goggles (since I didn't play them back in the day) that some stuff like Star Wars Galaxies and Morrowind are legit amazing to play nowadays.
And Morrowind can be modded to look way better.

For most games with multiple endings I look up how to get the "best" one even going so far as spoiling stuff for myself.
I wish more games had social mechanics like Persona 3 or 4. Being able to socialize, build character interaction skills, and enter relationships is something that always sells a game for me.
My first time playing SMT Nocturne I looked up strategies on beating bosses most of the time because I was worried about getting destroyed.
Despite getting burned incredibly hard by Mass Effect 3 the themes shown through the teaser for Andromeda have me actually interested. If they go with a space cowboy, exploring new planets kinda theme instead of a big eldritch space god nonsense I may buy it.

The Witcher 3 was my GOTY for 2015 despite the downgrade. Undertale came close though.
I think the Persona games generally have better music than SMT games. A lot of battle themes in SMT may fit the environment and characters, but often just come off as generic rock/metal to me.
I don't think Legend of Zelda has ever been that good. All of the components the series has (combat, puzzles, characters, etc) have always ranged from outright bad to just kinda okay. The biggest issue is the combat. So much of it feels brain dead. Wind Waker was probably the best in that regard with the weapons you could pick up and various acrobatics Link could do, but it still was only okay.
Killing The Boss in MGS3 was a dramatic moment, but I didn't really care that much at the time. It wasn't until the epilogue explained some of the shit she sacrificed and dealt with that I started to feel bad for her.
Nintendo is total shit these days. They are totally disconnected to both their fans and general market. They can barely seem to put out decent games lately and have been jumping from one failed system to another. Out of the entire Wii U library I really only enjoyed Xenoblade Chronicles X and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

While i do legit think i've picked up a few skills in the games i've played, i am absolutely handicapped by the fact that i just cannot avoid cheating. In RPGs it usually just starts as me getting cash, so i can buy fancy-looking armor or to just avoid a grind, but it tends to soon thereafter devolve into infinite factors. Unlimited stamina, mana, or infinite souls in DS. In strategy games, in which i am far better than any of my friends, i still cheat rampartly. I got two hours into Stellaris before i gave myself infinite credits and minerals.
I never cheat in multiplayer, though.

I've been playing video games on an 18'' laptop for almost six years now. It can barely run Witcher 2 at minimum settings, 1024 x 600 at 20 fps at mostand i finished it twice regardless.
I keep putting off building another PC because other shit keeps coming along that i spend my money on.
