It's pretty embarrassing that someone at Nintendo apparently still thinks this is the 90s or earlier and that censorship can't easily be found out.
The fact that the fanbases for SMT/Persona and FE seem like type to be more aware of these things than usual only makes it worse, though I suppose FE may have branched out into a more normal audience.
Perhaps they've just learned that they won't be punished for such actions because ultimately the allure is too strong for most and they'll still fork over the shekels.
